Overview

WLAL runs a Winter League that draws participation from nearly a dozen regions around Los Angeles,including Santa Monica, Culver City, El Segundo, South Bay, Torrance, Palos Verdes, Westchester, and more.

WLAL fields teams for its Winter season for both boys and girls, from kindergarten through 8th grade.

While our Winter teams are always competitive, we welcome beginners at every age level. 

During our 2019 Winter Season, games will be held every Saturday, from January 5th through the end of February.

Our season will culminate with playoffs and championship games during the final weekend of February (Saturday 2/23 & Sunday 2/24).

Games will take place at various fields around the West-LA area including Culver City High School, Santa Monica High School, Mar Vista Recreation Center, and possibly other venues as well.

All WLAL practices take place at Cheviot Hills Recreation Center (day/times still TBD).

Pending field-space availability, we intend to hold a one all-ages, full-group practice session for our WLAL players in mid-December, prior to the holidays, as a way to kick things off. More info on this as we get a little closer.
