West LA Lacrosse

WHO WE ARE

Founded in 2006, West LA Lacrosse (WLAL) is one of the longest-running youth lacrosse organizations in the greater-LA area, and has served as a seminal nucleus for the sport in this region of California.

Our mission is to grow the lacrosse community in Los Angeles by providing affordable, accessible youth programs to Westside LA families. We have programs for both boys and girls, from kindergarten through 8th grade

WLAL is a 501c3 non-profit corporation that is driven by parents and volunteers.

OUR CORE VALUES

ACCESSIBILITY

WLAL is committed to providing affordable and accessible programs to our community. We want to help our families connect to a wider world of lacrosse-related resources and opportunities at every stage of their lacrosse journey.

DEVELOPMENT

WLAL is focused on teaching solid foundational and fundamental lacrosse training for both boys and girls, across all ages and stages of experience. WLAL emphasizes the leadership and sportsmanship skills that players must develop when blending a team that varies greatly in experience and skill.

COMMUNITY

WLAL fosters a local community comprised of kids, parents, families, coaches, and volunteers all connected by a love of lacrosse. This community values the special bonds and experiences that a locally-based, developmental rec-league approach provides.
